Singer and presenter Cheryl Baker has supported Demelza for more than 15 years, officially opening the first charity shop in Sittingbourne in November 1998. Last year she not only ran the London Marathon for Demelza in April, but she performed at Music on the Hill in July . “I’m honoured to be asked to be a vice president of Demelza. It’s a charity close to my heart and one which I’ve supported since my family moved to Kent in 1996. The care they provide for families in need is phenomenal and I’m privileged to be able to do my bit by helping to raise awareness of this vital local cause,” said Cheryl.
