Enriching young minds for a successful future
For over 126 years Sydenham High School GDST has been educating girls aged 4 to 18 from across London,
Kent and the South East to outstandingly high standards with excellent GCSE and A-Level results.
Last summer, for the second consecutive
year, the school achieved an increase in
the number of students gaining top grades
at A Level, along with its consistent 100
per cent pass rate thus bucking the trend
nationally. January’s Government league
tables also confirmed Sydenham High as
the top performing school, either private or
maintained, in its local borough.
The school’s belief that a 21st-century
education needs to be about more than
examining pupils is equally central to its
success, with enrichment beyond the
classroom being embedded in school life.
This starts at Junior School where girls are
nurtured through their formative years, from
