In this action-packed tale, Jack is lured on board the ship of the notorious Blackbeard by the mysterious Penelope Cruz, a long lost love from his distant past. Racing against the Spanish and English Naval fleets, the film is a whirlwind story of adventure, revenge and dangerous mermaids. Knole Park in Sevenoaks was the Kent location used in the film. The large inner courtyard was filled with gallows intended for Gibbs. BBC drama Call The Midwife is set in East London during the 1950s, and is based on the memoirs of Jennifer Worth. It follows a newly qualified midwife who works alongside midwives and nuns at a nursing convent, whereby they face the many medical problems and struggles of a very deprived area. In the film, Lane is forced to leave his family to travel across the world in a race against time to try and stop the zombie pandemic that is threatening to decimate humanity itself. In September and October 2012, the World War Z production team visited the offices and laboratories at Discovery Park in Sandwich to shoot scenes where Gerry Lane tries to find a cure for the zombie pandemic. The film, Les Misérables, is based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel and Cameron Mackintosh’s popular musical. Set in 19th-century France, it tells the story of Jean Valjean, an exprisoner who has broken his parole. In true Clarkson style, the celebrations were anything but low key, and involved live music, classic fighter planes and a group of Royal Marines. The Top Gear team made the most of Kent Film Office’s legal powers to close roads for filming and closed Chilham's square to film the episode. 112
