GEEK 2014 // 21-23 Feb
Launched in February 2012 and
held annually in the Winter
Gardens, Margate, GEEK is a
festival of play and games. A
family event, there will be two
halls of games to play as well as
workshops, talks, presentations
and demonstrations. There will
be also be hundreds of video
games to play on original
consoles, as the expo traces the
development of video games from the 1980s right up to new releases.
Special areas will be the Indie Zone, Tournament Zone and Game Lounges
and activities will include Cosplay Masquerade, card games, board games
and art and craft activities.

Blues Bash

Broadstairs Blues Bash is
a free blues music festival
which takes place annually
in the Victorian seaside
town of Broadstairs. In
2013 the event put on 43
local, national and

venues across the town, attracting a crowd of several thousand people.
