As we gear ourselves up for another bout of festive fun, this year we’re getting into the Christmas
spirit by event-hopping to as many Kent goings-on as possible. Here are our faves!
Magical Christmas, Hever Castle

Experience the magic of Christmas past this year, as the doublemoated Hever Castle is transformed into a winter wonderland. Visitors can
take a carousel ride on the
fabulous traditional gallopers
or visit the snowy fairytale
grotto, in which Father
Christmas will be awaiting.
Tickets cost an additional £10
and must be pre-booked.
Wrap up warm on
13th,19th and 20th
December for the castle's
Christmas Evening Specials,
whereby visitors can enjoy traditional brass bands in the illuminated gardens,
before stepping into the castle for some last-minute shopping and festive
food. Tickets must be pre-booked and cost £12.50 adults, £6.30 children
(or £10.30 with a visit to Santa). Under 4s go free.
Luxurious decorations, inspiring gifts, stocking fillers, toys and
accessories are just some of the fabulous finds in the Christmas Shop
throughout December. Meanwhile, the chefs will be serving
Christmas lunches, seasonal food and drinks in the castle's award-winning
restaurants.
Finally, don't forget to visit Hever Castle's annual Christmas Fair on
28th November, 10am – 3.30pm. Entrance costs £3 and is free for day
visitors.

Hot in Havana,
Kent Event Centre

It's official: Kent’s biggest party venue
has teamed up with event specialists,
Best Parties Ever, to offer a spectacular
host of Havana-themed parties this
December. As well as a four-course
dinner, guests will be transported to
the heart of Havana and dance the
night away at a Cuban street party. An
aerial acrobatic performance, complete
with fire and pyrotechnic display, will also be in place, as will dodgems and
a fabulous casino.
