SEASON, FROM PARTY NIGHTS AND FARMERS’ MARKETS, TO OPEN-AIR ICE RINKS AND FINE DINING AT
ONE OF THE COUNTY’S MANY HISTORIC OR SPLENDID SPOTS.
First up, the build-up to Christmas must be
epitomised by the search for unusual gifts and
fabulous culinary delights to savour and share
throughout the season.
Hever Castle’s Christmas Fair — held in a

heated marquee — will take place this year on
28th November, while excitingly Leeds Castle
will be holding its first German-style Christmas
market full of gifts and tasty treats from 7th-24th
December. In addition, Penshurst Place has a
Christmas farmers’ market booked for the
morning of 7th December.
The popular Rochester Christmas markets
always offer a great selection of crafts and
seasonal produce and again this season, they
are not to be missed. The craft markets will be
taking place between 6th-8th and 14th-15th
