New Interactive Outdoor Play Area at Sutton Valence Prep
The summer holidays have been a very busy time at Sutton Valence Prep School, near Maidstone. All the new pupils joining the kindergarten classes this term will be delighted to discover the brand new interactive outdoor play area awaiting them.
At over double the former size, the new play area is dedicated solely for the school’s youngest (from age 3) classes to enjoy. Using an interactive, safety-?rst cushioned surface, with new arti?cial grass banks installed complete with a slide, it creates the perfect all-weather play area. There’s even a colourfully designed pathway on the ground including a speci?c roadway for trikes. Miss Philippa McCarmick, head of pre-prep added, “I’m overjoyed, it’s a wonderful addition to our pre-prep. Time spent learning outdoors and playing is very important and plays a key role in our day-to-day activities, especially for our youngest pupils.
