THE THREE HORSESHOES
The Three Horseshoes is a traditional pub in the village of Hernhill , near Faversham . Our rural surroundings make us a popular destination for walkers , cyclists and local villagers alike , and a very warm welcome is extended to all .
The building is more than 250 years old and very Kentish in its look and feel – there ’ s an attractive frontage , with a weatherboard exterior and traditional Kent peg roof . Inside , period features such as big old oak beams and a large open fireplace help give us our characterful , welcoming atmosphere .
Outside , you ’ ll find a small garden , a real suntrap on summer days , with tables under the shelter of the ancient walnut tree . We offer delicious pub food , and we ’ re well known for our excellent Sunday Roast .
At the bar , you ’ ll find plenty of quality cask ales , international lagers , and a good choice of wines and spirits . If you ’ re looking for entertainment , there ’ s plenty going on here , from sports on TV and live music to charity events , including our annual wheelie-bin race ! We have regular live music gigs , but our acts are so popular that tickets often sell out quite quickly . Like our Facebook page today to find out what ' s coming up and get those tickets early ! If you ' re a sports fan , then this is the perfect place to watch great sporting fixtures with a nice drink in your hand .
And then there ' s our annual wheelie-bin race for charity . It ' s a very popular event for all the family and this year we raised a fantastic £ 4,807 for Pilgrims Hospices . A huge thanks to everyone who took part . See you again next year !
Come for our fish and chip night every Tuesday , £ 5 , 6-9pm ; and once a month steak night – cooked on hot lava rock stones for two people , only £ 35 and with a carafe of wine .
