Letters to the Editor

Inns E-Magazine / Winter 2013

Hi Mary,

Just a heads up, I love your online magazine and I love the fact that you're speaking to us and in person from your Editor's comment!!!

Cheers,

Maria

Dear Mary,

So glad to see your publication has survived all these years. It is not an easy task these days.

It has been a long time since I last wrote for your magazine. I was working at The Halifax Herald trying to juggle a regular reporting job with a freelance job. I left The Herald nearly four years ago after 41 years but have kept my hand in the freelance business. Your publication looks as sharp as ever and if you have an interest in Nova Scotia or the Maritimes for that matter, and I can be of assistance of a freelance basis, please let me know. All the best and continued success.

Cheers,

Tom Peters

Hi Mary,

I just noticed my article 'Grandeur and Charm' published in your Fall 2013 issue.

I wanted to thank you for taking it - it was a nice surprise and much appreciated!

Take care, and have a great weekend!

Nicola

Hello INN team,

I’ve had a vision since I bought my antique school house in 1999…it’s recently come to life and I’d appreciate it if you’d help me share it with the world.

Introducing Yoga Bed & Breakfast, a destination in Preston, CT, that offers more than just scones and a warm bed.

Believe it or not we’re the only lodging of its type in the area, so take a look and let me know if a mention in your publications would benefit your readers:

Good morning!

Yesterday, I received my Inns magazine latest edition on my computer, and while I can fully understand the need for cost cutting and the movement to different methods of providing your product, I am most unhappy about the change, and cannot see myself reading and enjoying the magazine on line. Part of the pleasure of any book or magazine for me is to hold it in my hand and relax while reading it.

I have a subscription (contract?) for a hard copy of Inns magazine paid up until June of 2014, and since you can no longer deliver a hard copy I would like the remainder of my subscription refunded.

Janette

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this matter.

HI Janette,

I am sorry you feel that way and appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us.

As you can appreciate many magazines have closed and gone out of business leaving subscribers with nothing, Harworth Publishing, Inns Magazine did not want to do that at all.

WE love paper too and have done so for 17 years and we had a choice to either close our doors or re-evaluate our business plan to afford to still stay in business so we compromised with a digital edition. The good news is you can print it off on your computer to read or order a printed copy from Joomag where the magazine is hosted.

We will continue to deliver your subscription to you digitally, I am sorry we cannot refund your money.
