Amelia Island Williams House is breathtakingly romantic, casually elegant and picture perfect. I’ve

had the pleasure of sitting on this porch on many different occasions with friends. It is a wonderful private and romantic oasis with all the gingerbread you’d expect. Just the kind of porch setting you’d imagine. The large porch has cozy areas with comfortable wicker furniture and amazing style, which encourages you to sit and sip a cup of cocoa or your favorite brew. The lighted iron fence creates a fantastic atmosphere and the architecture of this house is impressive.

The antebellum style of the Addison on Amelia seamlessly blends the elegance of a bygone era. Private and semi-private porches overlooking Ash Street and the soothing fountain courtyard make these porches awesome. The meticulously restored main building was originally built for merchant Frank Simmons in 1876. Breakfast on this porch is delicious and inviting.

Fairbanks House, located in the Historic District is a jewel of an Inn offering elegance with enthusiastic service and an island attitude, surrounded by the intra-coastal waterway on the left and the grand Atlantic Ocean on the right. Hanging flowers, wicker love seat and chairs beckon you to come sit and relish the view. .
