Goldmoor Inn is one of America’s best-kept wedding and romance destination secrets, located in Galena, Illinois. Owners Brigit and Slobo Radin have been in the hospitality business for over 25 years. They have lived and worked all over the world for large operators like Hilton and Starwood Hotels. They longed for their own inn and the last three years they looked all over America for ‘their perfect’ inn to purchase. They came upon the Goldmoor Inn and their dream was realized this past February 2015. Brigit says, “We fell in love with this beautiful property as it was in excellent condition which was so important that it had been well looked after.” The inn's unique castle-like-style was designed by the previous owners and today guests feel like they are arriving at an English estate making it the perfect destination for weddings and celebrations!
There are 13 suites and 5 cabins, all breathtaking and between 750-850 squarefeet. Each accommodation is individually designed and decorated with an oversized Jacuzzi tub, fireplace and kitchenette. Each morning guests can enjoy breakfast in the dining room or have it delivered right to their suite.

Gazebo overlooks the Mississippi River is popular forparties of up to 15. Inside there are two areas that can accommodate up to 55 and in front of a beautiful fireplace. There is also a large outdoor pavilion that can accommodate up to 150 guests that is lit up at night and also faces the Mississippi River. All receptions can include a customized menu from an hors d’oeuvres reception to an elegant sit down dinner and everything in between. The outdoor walkways and gazebo are all illuminated making any celebration here feel dreamy and your very own starry night.
