The Westwind Inn family makes dinner a celebration each night. The setting couldn't be nicer as all meals are served in the Tree Top dining room that has a first row seat overlooking the lake. The sunsets each night just out in front it couldn't be prettier! Chef Kyle Guerin looks like the boy next door but let me tell you he creates a culinary delight each night. He is an award-winning chef beyond his years and he features as many local ingredients as possible - the bonus is he also can accommodate most dietary needs.
The dining room is licensed and offers some wonderful beverages to accompany dinner. Breakfast is served each morning buffet style and there is always plenty of it; bacon, French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, yogurt and fruit and maple syrup! You definitely won’t go hungry here! Sometimes it’s just about the uncomplicated simple pleasures that mean the most- and here is definitely one of them!
Nearby -you must take a five-minute drive into the village of Buckhorn. It sits along the Trent-Severn Waterway System and you can see boats of all sizes go through the locks all day long. It's a great place to meander through the shops and have lunch by the water.
