What's more synonymous with summer than the beach? We can’t think of anything. Surf and sand is where it’s at when it comes to warmer weather. 1) Shelter Island House – Shelter Island Heights, NY

Located one block from the beach, this boutique property draws inspiration from its original roots in the 1800s.
