Location The University of Sheffield is one of the top research universities in the UK and much of its research is independently classified as world leading . The Innovation Centres consist of two centres , The Kroto Innovation Centre and The Bioincubator comprising of contemporary furnished offices , fully-flexible ACDP Class II wet labs and flexible general purpose labs . Both centres are within walking distance of the University ’ s engineering faculty , which is one of the biggest in the country , and three teaching hospitals in the Sheffield Teaching Hospital trust .
