The GSK Building will open in Autumn 2016 .
New Buildings for 2017 During 2016 two new buildings are being developed on the wider innovation campus within which UNIP sits :
Advanced Manufacturing Building
Developed to house University of Nottingham research in Advanced Manufacturing this 9,000m 2 building represents a £ 24m investment scheduled to reach fruition in late 2017 .
Research Acceleration and Demonstration Building
As part of recent Government investment in the Midlands Innovation Energy Research Accelerator ( ERA ) project , a 2,500m 2 building is being developed at a cost of £ 7m . This will support a high profile research collaboration between multiple private sector manufacturing partners and universities ’ research including Nottingham ’ s Energy Technology Building .
Midlands Innovation Energy Research Accelerator building
The construction of the Advanced Manufacturing Building on Jubilee Campus will connect the campus to Derby road and the adjacent Gatehouse Lodge . The building comprises office space , laboratories and seminar space for the Faculty of Engineering .
The architect is Bond Bryan , with Arup acting as structural and services engineer . Turner & Townsend are project manager and Sweett Group are the cost managers .

The Innovation Park has excellent transport links and is close to Nottingham city centre and its train station , the M1 motorway and is 30 minutes from East Midlands Airport . Frequent trains run from Nottingham station to all major cities , taking 90 minutes to London . Connecting with the Eurostar at London ’ s St Pancras International passengers are less than a five hour train journey to Paris . Nottingham is served by an excellent public transport infrastructure , with an extensive and regular bus service as well as an expanding tram network .
