In his filming and conducting over a hundred
interviews for not only the show but also
for Tattoo Artist Magazine, Richard became
increasingly connected with the tattoo
community. He learned how the artists
worked, and that even the biggest and
baddest looking tattooer had a humbleness
to him, welcoming him into their homes as
he got a real sense of their dedication. He
saw firsthand how much time, love, and work
went into their craft, even just one individual
piece. Richard discovered that there is no
time for laziness, and therefore he needed
to represent them in the purest and truest
way possible. He needed to use the same
precision, concentration, and focus when
presenting them to the world. With this
