attend quality conventions. I like Paris a lot.
There is a massive amount of high quality
artists and the organization is perfect. I love
Krakow, Brussels, and Budapest too.
I haven’t traveled a lot for a few years. I’m
planning on going to a new convention each
year. For example, I’m planning on going to
Hong Kong, L.A., Rio, and a few more in the
future.
How would you describe the current status of
tattoos by the general public in Hungary?
Here, there are various layers of the people,
just like everywhere else.
It’s going in a good direction. People accept
tattoos much easier in the last couple of
years. Because of this, people are getting
bigger tattoos on them, which is cool. I’m
lucky in Budapest. I was everywhere in
Europe and I have to say the customers here
are openminded and we can drive them in a
creative way.
Have you noticed any changes in the tattooing industry since you started?
Everything is fast and easy. You can order

everything from the net. The competition is
harder amongst artists, which is cool. You
can’t lay back and say “I’m the best,” because
that’s when you stop getting better. I see
newcomers with awesome color theory and
techniques every single week. My jaw hits
the ground sometimes. It’s cool motivation to
move forward.
How has the tattooing industry changed, in
your opinion, since shows like LA, NY, MIAMI
and LONDON INK have been broadcasted to
the nation?
Those shows make it easier for people to
accept people with more tattoos, even head
and face tattoos. On the other hand, I don’t
like the part of these shows that portray
unreal situations. I mean, nobody can create
a design in ten minutes for a sleeve and be
done in one sitting.
Now, everyone wants to tell me dramatic
stories about their tattoos and give me a big
hug when it’s done. They want to be Hollywood stars for a second. (Laughs.) But it’s
Budapest… (Laughs.)
Is there anything else you wish to say?
I wish for every tattooist nice, interesting work
and cool customers.
And for the customers, don’t hesitate, just get
some cool stuff done.
All the best wishes from Budapest!
