InkSpired Magazine Issue No. 33 | Page 5

InkSpired Magazine epitomizes the evolution of tattoo culture and lifestyle. Each story we feature symbolizes an integral role in that progression of the evolutionary process. The style section this month features 7th Revolution’s newest additions. The Americana influenced, rock ‘n’ roll, and vintage inspired line is a collective of laid-back, comfortable, and stylish fashion. Macey Necochea graces Issue No. 33’s cover. In an interview, we learn more about the blonde bombshell and tattooed model with exclusive images by Hugo V Photography. Periphery graces our music section this month, with an interview and photos by music documentarian and journalist, Jim Louvau. Another iconic musical influence appears in Issue No. 33, in the form of Acey Slade, former Murderdolls member and current bassist for Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. Mr. Slade is more than just metal and glam punk’s sweetheart, he is an urban explorer and cultural documentarian, constantly on the hunt in the places he travels for imagery of passion and inspiration. Ákos Bánfalvi interviews Portugal based tattoo artist, Dave Paulo, who describes his work as graphic realistic. His tattooing speaks for itself, with a touch of Paulo’s creative genius. Bánfalvi also interviews tattooed model and industry icon, Heather Moss, with photography by our beloved, Billy Ward. Ákos’ books, Ink ‘N Girls Vol. 1 & 2 are also featured along with commentary in the art and photography section this month. More than just our European editor, Bánfalvi is a respected publisher within the tattoo industry. In the piercing section, we cover the Association of Professional Piercers’ 2015 20th Annual Conference and Exposition, which took place on June 7th-12th at Bally’s in Las Vegas. With a combination of world class industry leaders and jewelry vendors, the event was a celebration of the community. True to form, it was a collaboration of education, innovation, and commemoration for the body art and modification industry. Joanna Angel, the Burning Angel “house mama” is our InkSpired Story this month. Highly regarded as the “original punk adult industry and entertainment visionary,” she has made history for tattooed and modified adult performers. Her career moves are nothing short of revolutionary and continues to evolve the world of alternative adult entertainment. With yet another month of the exploration of tattoo culture and lifestyle evolving ahead of us, I ask you, “what ‘InkSpires’ you?” Signed, Your Chief Editor- Candies Deezy Liu InkSpiredMagazine.com 3
