InkSpired Magazine: Who have you modeled for?
Anita Joy: I certainly cannot name every company that I have worked with over the last 7
years but there are so many that I have had the privilege to work with then and now. Here
are some of my favorites: Sullen Art Collective, Syc Fuk, Ink Addict, Harley Davidson,
H2Ocean, 7th Revolution, Steadfast Brand, Sourpuss Clothing, Yakuza, Dirty Shirty,
g005e, Shrine, Outlaw Clothing, and many more awesome brands.
InkSpired Magazine: Do you have any advice for aspiring models?
Anita Joy: Make sure you’re in it for the right reasons and don’t lose yourself along the
way. There’s a lot of competition out there and girls often get lost or caught up in it. The
best way to be successful is to be true to you and everything that is desirable will shine
through that. Work hard and maintain your body and mind while focusing on bettering
yourself, your goals, and your abilities.
InkSpired Magazine: What else do you do?
Anita Joy: I have worked in the food and beverage industry for over 10 years, as well for
the “jobby-job” thing or consistent money maker. I model for my passion, not for making
millions. I have been a caterer, cook, waitress, bartender, cocktail waitress, bottle service,
et cetera. I work hard for what I have so that I can do what I love. I am also an artist but
haven’t been much for selling my art…I am, however, considering doing more painting
and selling this year.
