“Just like honey...sweet and oh, so yummy, Banjo & Cake is a candy-coated surprise filled with everything
a girl could ever want - bright colors, cute lil’ animals, and soft designs... Everyone has a soft side, right?
Well, this is ours.”
Delightful, fresh designs of alternative fashion collection, Banjo & Cake are perfect for the fashion
enthusiasts with appreciation for vintage inspired, adorably feminine style, featuring cute critters
and ladylike detail. Banjo & Cake is a collaborative effort, featuring the work of designers Maureen Keough (main designer and boss lady of Too Fast Clothing), Karen Gorga, Clare
Dutton, and artist, Ella Mobbs a.k.a. Creep Heart. The line is a perfect composition of all of
the artists.
Banjo & Cake is a mashup of breezy dresses and skirts, cardigans and cap sleeve
tops with sweetheart cutouts, flamboyant prints, innocent gingham, classic nautical
details, and lovably humanized artwork of adorable animals such as unicorn tea
parties, friendly sharks, kitties, sweet sea creatures, and well-dressed woodland
furries. This unique fashion line is a mixture of 50’s rockabilly polish and
modern cuts offering pieces from old style bikinis, to new style leggings.
It’s clothing perfect for sunny summertime romps in the park with an ice
cream cone, bike rides, a day at the fair, or a date on the pier. The outfit
would be as colorful and upbeat as the environment.
Established in 2013, Banjo & Cake serves up cute and sassy
vintage infused ladylike clothing. Bright and bold, yet easy to
wear, it is available both wholesale and retail at several online
vendors.
