Crashing

by Belinda Bantly '14

If it's not Facebook official is it really official?

If it's not blogged, posted or stated in  my status how will you know–

How will you know right now my brain is frozen.

I'm crashing.

How will you know my mind begs for an automatic shutdown.

A pause that will shift the future just far enough away, that

My mind will find the peace it longs for day after day.

I'm buried beneath endless to do list I Posted on snap chat

My mind begs for an automatic shutdown

It begs for the repetitive motion of hoping for peace to find its way back into my head but the craziness of the never ending thought of--

I'm crashing

Sometime at night I pretend my life is a game and tomorrow is a new day, a new game.

All I need to do to get a break is take a time out.
