Q:Do you have any goals concerning your poetry?

A: do not think I will pursue anything involving poetry alone. I do want to become a writer, sharing my work to the world appeals to me. Though my first step will most likely be joining the Air Force and doing something in culinary or service.

Q:What advice would you give to an aspiring poet?

A:This question makes me giggle, because I still see myself as an aspiring poet. So any advice I have to give would be to myself. Writing to me is a free hobby, I would not be able to give any steps on how to get better. I call it a hobby, but it means much more. I would say write A LOT, experiment with different styles and the way you put your words onto the page. Whenever I’m alone, I read my poetry out loud. Even if it isn’t meant to be. Some people sing under their breath (I do this too), but I also recite my poems. This may sound crazy but it really helps you get familiar with your style, and how the rhythm of it works.
