Borough of Jefferson Hills Annual Earth Day Cleanup of Roads and Neighborhoods Saturday , April 22 at 9 a . m . Breakfast at 8:30 a . m .
Last year approximately 150 volunteers participated in our Earth Day cleanup . We had fun working together to make our beautiful Jefferson Hills a little neater and free of the litter that makes its way to our neighborhoods and roads .
After breakfast at the Municipal Center at 8:30 a . m ., we will pick up gloves , bags and vests and move out to our assignments . Note : All filled bags are to be tied and left at the exact spot where they are filled , so lifting is unnecessary .
Special thanks to Michelle Dunn of KEEP PA Beautiful for helping to coordinate the event , Mayor Jan Cmar and her family for coordinating the breakfast and Austin Hatfield , Floreffe volunteer firefighter , for coordinating safety coverage by our three volunteer fire companies and Jefferson Hills Area Ambulance Association .
