CLASSROOM COLLABORATION
To finish up the Science module for " Changes ," the secondgrade students had the opportunity to collaborate with our fifthgrade students on making “ oobleck .” This interesting substance has characteristics of both a solid and a liquid . To make this gooey creation , the kids began with cornstarch then added water . After the two were mixed , the kids were able to make it whatever color they wanted with food coloring ! The students had a great time working across the grade levels and learning together .
