Making Martin Luther King , Jr . Day A Day of Service for the Sixth Year in a Row
For most students , Martin Luther King , Jr . Day is anticipated as a day off of school . Twenty of the South Fayette Middle and High School students saw this day as an opportunity to give back to the community . South Fayette continues to maintain a service partnership with the Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg on MLK Day , and this marks the sixth year that South Fayette has participated in this event . Students were involved in cleaning the recreational areas and stairwells of the Hosanna House as well as picking up trash in the local neighborhood .
