Universally Local:
An Exploration
of City Systems
The IwB partnered with
Toronto Community
Housing (TCH) to explore
opportunities and
challenges surrounding
social housing, community
engagement, sustainable
building and services. The
IwB class of 2010 focused
on Flemingdon Park, a TCH
neighbourhood. They
investigated and proposed
a range of design solutions
varying in scale to transform
the neighbourhood into a
more desirable place to live
and visit.

The Atlas of One Delta
The Atlas of One Delta is the
first publication in a series
of five volumes, made by
the 2013/14 IwB cohort in
collaboration with IwB
faculty and staff, for the
Regional Ecologies project.
This five-year research
initiative looks at the
networks and interconnected
systems that define our
regions and aims to design
intelligent and balanced
solutions that will foster
prosperous, livable and
resilient regions of the future.
