Bangalore Bound
With the support of the Ontario Global Edge
Program, funded through the Ministry of Economic
Development and Innovation, two School of Design
students travelled to Bangalore India for a threemonth work placement at Restore Solutions.
“We were able to work on almost
every project that came through the
door; we would get briefed on every
item and had the opportunity to
select the projects that we were most
passionate about. Being able to see
your concepts come to life from just
a sketch is the most gratifying thing
to realize as a designer. We worked
on a lot of great brands like Ed Hardy,
US Polo, Pillsbury and Acer, as well
as some iconic Indian brands too, like
Flying Machine and MTR Foods.”
