NORWIN ROTARY 7TH ANNUAL CHILI COOKOFF & WING THING
The 7th Annual Chili Cookoff & Wing Thing took place on Thursday , March 2 , from 5 to 8 p . m . at various locations in downtown Irwin including The Colonial Grille , Café Supreme , Cheesecake Caffe , Irwin Masonic Hall and First United Methodist Church . The event was sponsored by the Norwin Rotary as its primary fundraiser toward providing support for the Norwin Rotary Back Pack Project .
In its seventh year , the Norwin Rotary Back Pack Project has provided children in need with back packs full of nutritional , kid-friendly food that will sustain them for an entire weekend . The Norwin Rotary partnered with the Irwin Business and Professional Association to raise money for the cause .
