He is the son of Fairview resident Karen Whelan and the late Arthur Whelan , who is known for opening International Business in Erie with Zibo China in the mid 1980s . Whelan has 12 years of Customer Service , Sales and Management experience and has held multiple leadership positions in his career . He and his wife and daughters reside in Fairview .
