Francis McClure 3rd grade students in Mrs. Dececco’s class were
learning about goods and services as part of their Social Studies
lessons. Students created on their own goods or listed services that
they could provide to other students. Next, they created a script and
produced a commercial which was played for Mrs. McCloskey’s first
grade classroom allowing them to participate in this fun event. Mrs.
McCloskey’s class was given “superdollars” that the students could earn
in order to shop at the third grader’s store. Once the students came to
the store, the 3rd graders had a great time pitching and selling their
goods to their fellow Francis McClure friends.
