CTA PRESENTS ‘ FOOTLOOSE ’
The Center for Theater Arts presented its annual high school musical , “ Footloose ,” at the Upper St . Clair High School Auditorium . The cast included more than 80 students from the South Hills including those living in the Chartiers Valley School District . “ Footloose ” is the heartfelt story of a father longing for the son he lost and of a young man aching for the father who walked out on him . To the rockin ’ rhythm of its Oscar- and Tony-nominated top-40 score and augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage musical , “ Footloose ” celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people , guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind .
Original Broadway cast member and Executive Director Billy Hartung was overjoyed with the opportunity to stage and share his love and excitement for this incredibly entertaining musical with the students at CTA .
The show was performed at the Upper St . Clair High School Auditorium .
