Program Kicks
Off at CanonMcMillan High
School
T
o kick-off the 2016-17 program year, students from CanonMcMillan High School were recently introduced to The
Challenge Program, Inc. during an orientation assembly.
The assembly theme was an Olympic trial that demonstrated
the interview screening process to help students qualify for
success.
During the assembly, students in the sophomore, junior and
senior classes were introduced to local career opportunities with
AUMA Actuators.
Throughout the year, they will be eligible to compete
for financial awards in five areas linked with academic and
workplace success: Attendance, academic improvement,

academic excellence, STEM (science, technology, engineering,
and math) and community service.
Awards were also presented to the 2015-16 underclassmen
winners from Canon-McMillan High School. Congrats to
junior-class winners Mia Graziani (Attendance), Sarah
Centore (STEM), Gannon McDonough (community service),
Gerald Bowman (academic improvement), and Santina
Bohlander (Academic Excellence).
Congrats also go to senior-class winners Julia
Ciotti (academic excellence), Ashley Oddi (academic
improvement), Madison Mollico (community service), Tyler
Meier (STEM), and Valerey Rosenwald (attendance).
