Seniors Together
This Voluntary Action initiative
funded by the BIG Lottery aims to
improve the lives of older adults in
East Renfrewshire by helping them
to become more connected with
others and their community.
The team of 46 volunteers offers
support
and
companionship
through 1:1 befriending, Senior
Circle information events, group
activities and outings.
Older people reported feeling
less isolated, more informed
and connected as a result of the
service.
East Ren Carers’ Centre
East Renfrewshire Carers’ Centre
provides practical and emotional
support to carers and young carers.
Services include:
•
1:1 support & advice,
•
income maximisation,
•
stress management and
•
friendly ear to listen.
Through these services, East Ren
carers say they feel more supported
and able to live an active life secure
in the knowledge that their loved
ones are safe.

Seniors Together
P.A.R.T.N.E.R.
PARTNER is a local peer support
addiction recovery group, offering
supports to recovering addicts and
their families. The 12 strong group
meets weekly offering peer support
to those currently navigating the
recovery process.
Many from the group have
successfully moved on to either
employment, self employment,
study, or settled down to family life.
