In May 2016 the Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA), held the Rosie Awards Gala, of course it went fabulously. The event was dedicated to the victims of the Fort McMurray Wildfire. The 42nd Annual Award show for Alberta Film and TV was hosted by Jebb Fink and Michelle Thrush!
The AMPIA council had a great year for Alberta Film and is certainly on the map for great films and artists from Alberta. The Calgary Film Centre is now open!
