Music fans may have seen his name on credits with artists and producers such as ASAP Ferg, Moody, Spenzo, Fredo Santana, C-Sick, and Nascent; or you may know Todd from his incredible shoe collection posted under his Instagram alias: @ToddBeee. Acclaimed Chicago soul and Emma Ohm at I.V. Lab Studios Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl at Cubby Bear tracked by American Mobile M ix Magazine recently featured Chicago's GRAVITY STUDIOS in their Studio News section featuring a session with owner/producer Doug McBride, engineer Tim Yamaya and British band Anathema. Also at Gravity, Tim The Singer tracked his soulful mix of Hip/Hop, R/B, and Pop EP, Can’t Control Myself, with Yamaya engineering. Beth Liebling arrived at Gravity to record some new music with engineers, Sam Fell and Mike Penny. CHICAGO RECORDING COMPANY's sister facility, American Mobile Mobile recording vehicle tracked the Foo Fighters at the Cubby Bear for their surprise live show (which was streamed via HBO's Facebook feed) following Episode One of the Sonic Highway series on HBO. The American Mobile crew included owner/ producer/engineer Chris Shepard, CRC Executive VP Hank Neuberger and produc- 44 illinoisentertainer.com november 2014 R&B vocalist Jennifer Hudson released her new album, JHUD, last month. Over the last year and a half, nearly all of CRC's music engineering staff have been involved in the making of Hudson's record and naturally are very excited to be able to say how much work they have put into it. CRC's staff is very happy for Jennifer, and want to give a shout out to RCA Records for their support and success with yet another great production. Their engineering staff involved with the project includes: Mat Lejeune, Jonathan Lackey, Steven Faye, Jon Zacks, Jeremy Chereskin, and Ron Etters. Stalwart CRC Engineer, Mark Wilkening recently teamed up with marketing agency Cramer-Krasselt and Vitamin Pictures to mix 4 haunting spots for the transformation of California's Knott's Berry Farm into "Knott's Scary Farm." At Chicago's I.V. LAB Studios, acclaimed punk/pop rockers AM Taxi tracked new music in Studio A. I.V. Lab's Manny Sanchez recorded several tracks with The Good. Johnathan Beverly from Trees also mixed some tracks. The new single from Hard Working Americans, "Come From The Heart" featuring Rosanne Cash (her parts were not recorded locally) was tracked by Chris Harden at I.V. Lab. Emma Ohm was in the studio tracking with engineer James Auwater and producer John Norman . Crow Moses new album (featured on WXRT's Local Anesthetic), Horse Heaven Hills comes was released last month. The album was produced by Gary Louris of the The Jayhawks and engineered and mixed by I.V. Labs Chris Harden. 93 XRT's Richard Milne says, Crow Moses' long-player is "simply the finest record I've heard out of Chicago this year." Todd Kessler & The New Folk's new video "Exactly Where I Should Be" was shot on location. Engineer Tom Miller tracked a record in Studio A with the Tom Matta Big Band. Tim Fite did vocals for a new project called Grant$!.
