Potential Plus UK
As some of you already know, we just ran our BIG Family Weekend
in Leamington Spa on the 26th and 27th October. This included our
Enigma Challenge for young people over 13. We were pleased to
see so many of you at North Leamington School for both The Art
and Science of Colour session on Saturday, with Dr Barry Meatyard,
and also for Pro Green Screen film making on Sunday with Mat
Beckett from River Rea Productions. We will be running our next BIG
Family Weekend event on the 15th and 16th February 2014, so get
the dates in your diary – details of the venue will be available soon.
Have a look below for the video created by the Enigma Challenge
participants on Sunday!

Autism
How much do you know about Autism? Do you have autism, or maybe know
somebody who does? CBBC’s Newsround has produced some information to
help people understand autism here. They have also produced a short video
to help explain how autism can affect people. You will hear the story of Rosie,
a 13 year old girl who is living with autism, and you will meet several other
children who would like to tell you their story. You can view the video here.
Finally, if you or someone you know have been affected by the issues discussed,
you can find some additional support here. If you have any comments on
the subject or would like us to publish something then please let us know at
[email protected].
