ι συστάσεις είναι περιττές γι’ αυτή την ιστορική συνοικία. Η φηµισµένη αγορά του λιµανιού, νοτιοανατολικά του
ιστορικού κέντρου (ανάµεσα στις Σαλαµίνος, Λεωφ. Νίκης, Τσιµισκή και Ίωνος Δραγούµη), είναι µέσα στις top
επιλογές ντόπιων και επισκεπτών για φαγητό και διασκέδαση! Φέτος τη βρήκαμε updated με δυνατές νέες
αφίξεις! Η άλλοτε κακόφηµη περιοχή της πόλης, που µέχρι το 1917 αποτελούσε τη βάση του χονδρεµπορίου (οι περισσότερες αποθήκες λαδέµπορων βρίσκονταν εδώ, εξ ου και το όνοµά της), το 1985 ανακηρύσσεται διατηρητέα και το
1990 µπαίνει σε σχέδιο ανάπλασης. Από µεζεδοπωλεία και cafes µέχρι bistros και clubs, φηµίζεται για την πληθώρα
προτάσεων που προσφέρει. Περπατήστε τον πεζόδροµο της Κατούνη και της Αιγύπτου, την κεντρική πλατεία των
Λαδάδικων και την Πλατεία Μοριχόβου και ανακαλύψτε, εκτός των άλλων, προσεγµένα µεζεδοπωλεία αλλά και εστιατόρια όπως το Kazaviti, το Ζύθος, το παρεΐστικο Φουλ του Μεζέ, το αργεντίνικο El Correo. Αγαπηµένο στέκι είναι το
ατμοσφαιρικό και cozy Lena’s bistro, το street bar cafe Misirlou, ενώ οι λάτρεις της ροκ µουσικής δώστε ραντεβού
στο πιο παλιό ροκάδικο, το The Pub! Από την περιοχή δεν λείπουν και οι νεότεροι…«κάτοικοι», η ιρλανδέζικη pub The
Dubliner, το μεζεδοπωλείο-μπαρ Μαστίχα αλλά και το άρτι αφιχθέν... ουζόμπαρο Σταφύλι και φυσικά το club Casper

Introduction is not necessary for this historic district. The famous market of the port, southeast of
the historic center (between Salaminos Street, Nikis Avenue, Tsimiski and Ionos Dragoumi Street),
is amongst the top choices of the locals and the visitors for food and entertainment! More updated
this year with new entries! The once disreputable area of the city, which until 1917 was the base of
wholesale (most oil-merchants stores were here, hence its name), in 1985 it was proclaimed as
a preserved area and in 1990 a redevelopment plan was put in action. From taverns to cafés up
to bistros and clubs, it is known for the wide range of suggestions it offers. Walk on the pedestrian
streets Katouni Street and Egypt, on the central square of Ladadika and the Morichovou Street and
discover, amongst others, nice taverns as well as restaurants such as Kazaviti, Zythos, the Full of
Meze with friendly atmosphere, the Argentinean El Correo. A favorite hangout is also the atmospheric and cozy Lena’s bistro, the street bar café Misirlou, while also lovers of rock music can
meet at the old rock house, the Pub! Present in the region are also new “residents” such as the Irish
pub The Dubliner, the tavern-bar Mastiha as well as the newly arrived ouzo-bar Stafilli and the
Casper Club with 3 levels and philosophy reflected in its motto…. “the whole city, one company”!
