ALUMNI SUMMIT 2014 ROUND-UP: DAY 2
Brathay Trust leadership & management competition/workshop:
Leadership In The Future—Developing Your Competency For Leadership Success.
Following on from the previous day’s reflection questionnaire,
alums were grouped off to take part in various activities designed
to test their skills and capabilities. The purpose of this part of the
workshop was for alums to reflect on the behaviors and characteristics needed to become successful leaders, and how they
could utilize their personal behaviors for maximum success in the
workplace.

Working in groups of seven to pass a golf ball along a pipeline
course, or putting together a jigsaw in record time is much tougher
than it sounds, but it’s safe to say that a lot of fun was had during
the highly active session—even for a Saturday morning! The competition element of the workshop ensured everyone got the most
out of the session, with the winning group to be announced at the
gala dinner in the evening.
