Hult remains committed to its promise of being a global university after historic Brexit vote
The UK ’ s decision to withdraw from the EU will undoubtedly have an impact on all UK universities , particularly regarding the mobility of students and the funding of research .
Dr . Stephen Hodges , President of Hult International Business School , has reaffirmed that Hult remains a global university through its outlook , people , and enduring international relationships .
“ I would like to take this opportunity to let all Hult staff and students from across the European Union know that we value them enormously . Their contribution to life at Hult is intrinsic to what our university stands for .”
Dr . Hodges went on to reassure Hult staff and students that , barring unilateral action from the UK government , the vote to leave the EU does not mean there will be any immediate material change to the immigration status of current and prospective EU students and staff .
It is likely that exit negotiations with the other member states will take over two years . “ There will be many questions from the entire Hult community about what this vote will mean for our university . We will do our best to address these as a matter of priority as more concrete information becomes available from the government .”
Join the Hult Alumni Committee
The Hult Alumni Association and Hult Alumni Committee met at Ashridge House in October 2016 for the 2nd annual meeting . Committee members discussed how they can best engage the global alumni community . The committee was established in 2015 to better understand the needs of our global alumni network and enlist the support from a group of alumni who are passionate about Hult . These dedicated alumni volunteer their time , experience , and expertise to help Hult build a stronger alumni network .
The Hult Alumni Committee is comprised of 15 alumni from various backgrounds , degrees , and locations . Each of the committee members was selected by Hult ’ s Alumni Relations Team and senior leadership . As true Hult ambassadors , the Hult Alumni Committee strives to do the following :
• Build community
• Improve communication
• Create stronger networks
• Develop services and benefits
• Support students
• Increase volunteers
Each year the Hult Alumni Committee meets to discuss how they hope to positively impact the Hult alumni network . This year they have chosen to focus on two specific projects :
1 ) Alumni engagement : Rebuilding trust by enhancing the alumni experience through engagement and access to the global alumni network .
2 ) Alumni chapter empowerment : Providing Hult ’ s global alumni chapters with resources to empower and add value to the overall alumni network .

The Hult Alumni Association will be accepting applications for the next Hult Alumni Committee in the summer of 2017 .
