Welcome to the Premier Issue of Houston
Dentistry magazine! As publisher of
North Texas Dentistry for over five years,
I have been encouraged to expand my
market… so here we go!
Our goal will be to bring the latest news
and information to the Houston dental
community through feature cover stories,
custom profiles, compelling editorial on a
wide variety of topics and print advertising.
Promoting non-profits and community
dental events is one of my favorites.
I encourage you to discover the many ways
to participate!
We are honored to present the dental practice transition firm Watson Brown as our
premier cover story. Watson Brown specializes in practice appraisals and brokerage services for dentists at every stage of
their professional careers. I have known
this team of professionals for years and it
was a pleasure to work with them again.
Houston Dentistry magazine highlights
intriguing case presentations in Smiles in
the Spotlight. In this issue we share a case
by Dr. Clark Giddings in conjunction with
Kyle Swan, CDT, using an angulated screw
channel option for implant treatment. The
procedure is an example of teamwork between the doctor and a trusted and tal-
ented laboratory. Check out the inside
front cover for more information on presenting a case. There is no fee for inclusion
in Smiles in the Spotlight.
Custom Profiles are a valuable marketing
tool to promote your business or service.
Robert Zimbro, owner of National Target
Mailing is this issue’s featured Profile.
Robert is “the” dental postcard guy. He has
great marketing ideas and delivers a
consistently superb product. Details follow
in his Profile!

Also inside… you will find some great
articles. Community News spotlights the

Equipment Insight offers guidelines for

steps to take to get more reviews from satisfied patients.
In closing, I would like to thank the advertisers and contributors for supporting me
in launching my new venture. Hope you
enjoy the read!
Keep smiling and have a great day!
