What does it mean to be inspired? What is going to inspire us to change? How does a transformation begin? The word inspire means "to breathe in", to "inhale". In order to be inspired to change, we have to breathe in new life, new ideas, new motivation! So, where do we find the inspiration we need to make big changes in our lives? We find inspiration through the desire of our hearts. We set our hearts on a new path. We set our hearts on hope, that our lives can be better. Many times we don't even know where this path will go, but we need to change what we're doing, so we fix our hearts on new motivation. This is our first step toward any transformation-it is desire. The second step in the process from inspiration to transformation is setting goals. It's very important to write your goals down, and doing this with someone else is even better. Make specific goals, i.e. "I want to lose 50 pounds." The next step is to write down the date in which to accomplish that goal. For example, "I will lose 50 lbs by June 1, 2016." In setting goals, we need short term and long term goals, so break the long term goals down into shorter time-frames, and always keep your goals in front of you, so you can track your progress. Documentation is very important in achieving both your short and long term goals. It is very important to make goals that are achievable and measurable, so be realistic, but be diligent.
