In my experience a lot of self doubt comes from comparing yourself to others. And most often
when you compare yourself to others, you’re comparing your behind the scenes to their else
highlight reals. It’s easy to get caught up in comparing yourself to others around you especially
when you’re surrounded by and exposed to so many greats. I know from first hand that it can cause
a lot of self doubt and put water on your flame. You will burnout if you’re just trying to beat
everyone around you best scores. You have to compare yourself to yourself, from where you were
to where you are now and look forward to where you are going! Success is a measure of the
obstacles you've overcome to get where your are and if you’re always striving to get better, it’s not
where you are compared to where others are.
