Hitch Fit client Qualifies for BOSTON MARATHON! Hitch Fit superstar transformation Jill is an avid runner, at 50 years young she did her first Hitch Fit online plan, became leaner, stronger, shed 27 pounds and ran her FASTEST marathon ever! Fast forward and Jill is still running strong! She SMASHED her time goals to qualify for the Boston Marathon by 14 minutes!! WOW!! Awesome job Jill!!! Jill’s Message to Diana: “I had to take a minute and pull up this email from December where I initially reached out to you before signing up for a Hitch Fit program. You told me that if I took time off of running and completed the program, I would be even faster and stronger with my marathons. Looking back, I can’t believe my rigid mind was willing to have faith in you and something new, but boy were you more than right! I think I told you I had it on my radar to possibly run a marathon in late May as a “test” to see where I was at and then start my Fitness Model Round 2 program. After that I would be training hard to try to qualify for the Boston Marathon again. I ran less than half the miles for this marathon than any of my others and knew it could be a complete disaster. I didn’t sign up for the race until Saturday when I saw the weather forecast was perfect for Sunday and was on the starting line 12 hours later. Well I wasn’t supposed to run that fast in my “test” run! Yes, I dreamed big that it could happen, but if I did it, it wasn’t supposed to be 14 minutes under the time I need to get accepted into the Boston Marathon…no one does that! And it was pretty darn easy! By mile 5, I knew I had it and just kept pushing it. At mile 20, I certainly felt the fatigue in my legs, but I wanted it so bad it was easy to keep pushing on. There were some pretty steep hills and I just flew up them. There were times I thought I had wings I felt so strong. Averaging an 8:35 pace for 26.2 miles as a 50 year old is the coolest thing ever for me. I will never be able to thank you enough!
