Prom 2016
Mrs A McKee
On the evening of Wednesday 29 July, the Year 11 Summer Prom took place
at Ringwood Hall. The sun broke through the grey clouds revealing a double
rainbow, providing a beautiful backdrop for the arrival of limousines and
vintage cars. Students wore a wide variety of sparkly, gem encrusted dresses
in black, gold, ochre, pastel pink, lemon, sapphire and shimmering green,
revealing the highest shoes and converse trainers. Many boys chose to wear
smart navy suits and arrived in a Scooby doo mystery machine, hummers
and boogie party bus. The dance floor was packed and the chocolate
fountain was eaten dry! The party atmosphere created could be compared
to a music festival in Ibiza.

Examination results are due in school on Thursday 25 August 2016 and may only be collected between 10.00 am
and 12.00 pm on that day at the school. Results can only be given to the student, unless they give written and
signed permission to another person to collect their results. Please also note, results cannot be given over the

There will be a presentation evening at school to award certificates to Year 11
students on Thursday 24 November 2016.
If you or your son/daughter does not attend the presentation they can collect
their certificates from school. This must be done between January and March
2017. After this date it will be the responsibility of individual students to obtain
duplicates from the appropriate boards, which will involve a fee. Certificates can
also be posted but students must provide an A4 stamped addressed envelope, plus
a charge for recorded delivery with Student Services or myself before the end of
July.
Finally, all the staff and Governors at Heritage High School join together in
wishing your son/daughter well in their examinations and in the future.
