Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
from Heritage High School
Christmas Message
from the Headteacher
December is here, and I am sure that everyone is busy making
their plans for the holiday period and looking forward to some
well-earned family time together.
The autumn term has maintained the pace here at Heritage High
School. Our Year 7 students have settled well into the school,
helped by the extended transition period during July 2016.
During November we again came together to show our respect
during our Remembrance Service. During the service all of
our students were a credit to their families in the dignified and
respectful way that they conducted themselves.
Students and staff gathered on the agora
for the Remembrance Service
Also we celebrated our Year 11 leavers at our GCSE awards ceremony. It was a fantastic evening at
which individual’s hard work and success were celebrated.
The end of the term remains busy with our current Year 11 students sitting their mock GCSE exams,
awaiting their results in January.
We also played host to the Winter Wonderland in December at which students from our local primary
schools perform to a variety of Christmas music.
To round the term off we have a visiting company staging a performance of Cinderella, arranged
through the hard working Friends of Heritage Association.
Please may I take this opportunity to thank you all again for your ongoing support.
I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a successful 2017.
Mr R Marlow
