With this issue, we are introducing a new series, The
Headache Clinics. We are pleased to feature as our
inaugural site, The Center for Headache and Pain
Medicine, at The Mount Sinai Hospital, in New York
City. The following is based on an interview with the
Center’s Director, Mark W. Green, MD. Doctor Green
is also Professor of Neurology, Anesthesiology, and
Rehabilitation Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine.
Doctor Green attended medical school, and received
his neurological training at Albert Einstein College
of Medicine, Bronx, NY. During his residency, he
worked in the Montefiore Headache Unit at Albert
Einstein, where he later served as director of the unit.
Doctor Green has been involved in headache medicine
since 1978, and he has served as a Board member of
the National Headache Foundation since 2010
