EDITOR’S NOTE
A Letter
from the Editor
I just came back from my first trip
out of the country in 10 years. I took
a week and went completely off the
grid to Costa Rica we relaxed on the
most beautiful beach I have ever
seen and then explored an active
volcano. It was amazing.
I kept wondering why it had been
10 years since I took the time to
do what I have always loved to do,

I could save it for something “more
important?”
So it never happened and guess
what. THAT IS NOT COOL. Getting
away gave me the time I needed to
step away from all of the daily tasks
and to-do’s and actually look at my
life from a different perspective.
I can relax knowing that everything
is going to be alright. It may not be
perfect every day and yes, sometimes it is seriously hard juggling
everything. But spending time with
the people you love, away from all of
the excitement of life will make you
realize all the blessings you have.
So take a minute and think about
everything you have that you are
grateful for, plan a trip, spend the
extra money, and remember who
YOU are.
with all my love,
Sarah
