ith barely a ripple, the jighead
sweetened with a soft plastic
minnow imitation dropped
next to the bridge piling and slowly
descended to the bottom.
As the jig hit bottom
about 18 feet beneath the
surface, the angler
hopped it up about two
feet and let it sink again.
The bait never touched
the sand again. As the
bait sank in the murky
depths,
something
slurped it down. After a
spirited fight, the 25pound fish broke the
surface.
