Girl Scouts use resources wisely in everything we do , including in our communities . There are tons of amazing opportunities in western PA . We want to partner with the groups and organizations that mean the most to you . Know a group or business in your community that would make a great Girl Scout partner ? Want to reach out to a local business about a custom event but just don ’ t know where to start ? Did you have blast at a local venue and want to share the opportunity with your sister Girl Scouts ?

Program Kits
Anyone who ’ s a planner knows that sometimes it ’ s just the need for supplies that can stand between you and a great time . Program Kits take the grunt work out of tracking down those odds-and-ends that you may never need to use again – along with instructions and advice . Check out Program Kits from GSWPA and conduct a program with your troop , group or service unit on your own time ! Program Kits include written instructions and the non-consumable materials you need .

Hey Fashionista ! It is time to walk the runway as you express yourself through fashion ! Try new styles , jazz up outfits , and show off styles that make you feel and look great . This kit is haute ! Use this as you work on an It ’ s Your Story , Tell It Journey , as part of the Eating for Beauty badge or Make Your Own badge .

Be an egg head ! Become home scientists as you dive into these fun experiments ! Explore the fundamentals of density , bubble making , and kitchen science as you find out where science has been hiding in your own home . Brownies earn the Home Scientist badge , or Make Your Own badge .

The cookie is your canvas as you learn how to use icing and decorating tips to create masterpieces you can eat ! This is the most delicious art class you ’ ll ever have ! Girls take home their own cake decorating kit from Wilton ’ s and earn an Icing Fun patch .
Cost : $ 10 per girl ( Includes Wilton cake pipping bags , three decorating tips and a patch )
Insane Improv – J C S A
Let your imagination go crazy as you play games that take your performance skills to the next level ! Try animal imitation or host a party with the weirdest guests you can imagine ! Use this kit to help with team and confidence building , public speaking , or the media components of your Journeys and badges .

Pet / Animal Care 101 – D B J
Cute and cuddly , slimy and slithery , wet , or feathered , animals are awesome ! If you hope to someday care for an animal , either as a pet owner or by caring for wild animals in their natural habitats , this is a great place to start . Use this kit to work on the Daisy Journey – 5 Stories , 4 flowers , 3 Cheers for Animals , the Pets Brownie badge , or the Animal Habitats Junior badge .
