Everyone knows that Girl Scouts sell yummy treats in the fall with the MagNut Program and delicious world-famous Girl Scout Cookies in the winter through the Cookie Program , but many people don ’ t realize the important skills girls learn by participating in these programs .
By creating a plan , interacting with customers , and working as part of a team , girls learn goal setting , decision making , money management , people skills and business ethics – skills that will help them succeed in everyday life .

Operation : Sweet Appreciation
Girl Scouts aim to send thousands of treats and iconic Girl Scout Cookies to men and women serving our country overseas in the U . S . Military as well as veterans right here at home .
Customers can help them reach their goals with a donation to Operation : Sweet Appreciation . Donations are online during both MagNut and Cookie Programs at gswpa . org / military .
